Progressio works in the following areas in Zimbabwe:

Effective Governance and Participation

Progressio has engaged in a partnership with the National Faith Based Council of Zimbabwe (NFBCZ) to strengthen their work in helping to ensure that gender concerns are integrated into all NFBCZ programme plans.
Progressio is exploring a new partnership and the placement of a development worker to work on encouraging and creating processes and opportunities where local communities have their development needs and concerns aired and then addressed in local government plans and budgets.

Supporting the development of voluntary counselling and testing services, and duplication of good practice.
Strengthening community ownership and participation in programmes responding to HIV and AIDS.
Strengthening employers support of employees to prevent HIV and AIDS and to live with the disease in the workplace.
Improving documentation of good practice and dissemination of information about HIV and AIDS.
