Many development workers at the end of their contracts say it was an enriching experience that has made a lasting impact on them. Many extend their contracts or look for a second posting with us.

Progressio development workers receive:

• a one to two-year contract
• a living allowance based on local costs, sufficient for a reasonable standard of living
• accommodation and essential household equipment
• flights to and from your host country
• a pre-departure grant
• orientation
• emergency insurance cover for accident and illness
• national insurance contributions (or the UK equivalent for non UK-based development workers).
